Summary

The newness of it terrifies him, the idea that Jean’s want could rival his own, drags all of the fondness into his throat and makes it hard to speak around it. It’s just… so much, this desire, desire that transformed itself into love in the dead of night when Jeremy smoothed Jean’s curls away from his head and listened to the soft sound of his breath.
