Not just an obsession with heroes, which was obvious to even those who didn’t know him, but another, darker obsession which he hid deep down inside where it only grew more and more. Most kids would cringe or even throw up at the sight of blood, but Izuku adored it, the crimson liquid brought a sense of bliss to him that not even his favorite heroes could ever bring. He realized at a young age how alone he was in that regard, how it seemed only he thought the sight of blood was so pretty and even more enthralling when someone was covered in it. So, he hid the urges and the obsession. But it never stopped him f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ from needing.
Or: I thought that Toga and Midoriya had a lot of similarities and wanted to delve into what it could've been if he was not only born with her quirk, but took his admiration too far.
