She’s pretty in the low lights of their room, all sparkles and kohl and a kind of glow that he thinks is her happiness shining through her skin. “Well, when I got to college, I met Miriam and Leena and Sara. They picked up where Ummi left off, teaching me how to dance, and it got easier with all the Assasin training I’ve done. Flexibility and such.” She looks at him now, eyes shining in the dimness. “I thought you’d enjoy trying it out with me.”

    The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.

    There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.

    “Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

    Having to pay the bills on a terrible government salary?

    Nobody told Peter that being in SHIELD was just an excuse for basically free child labor. Or that his landlady would be a psycho ex-agent who gassed those who paid rent late.
    Honestly, if HYDRA had better pay, Peter might just flip.
    Just kidding, Uncle Fury would drag him back and dock his pay.

    Being a teenaged agent was hard, but nothing Peter couldn't handle. If only he didn't catch the attention of a certain super hero team. At least he could free-load off of them!
