Summary
When Mercy Sampson was hanged for a crime she did not commit, she was surprised to find her soul in Heaven instead of Hell, as she believed she would end up there. She is conscripted into the annual Exterminations to help cut down the overflow of damned souls in Hell, but after saving Charlie Magne from an unsanctioned assassination attempt by her own superior, Mercy is banished to Hell as a Fallen angel.
The Hazbin Hotel staff take her in and Mercy works with them to help make the princess's dream possible. Mercy also catches the eye of a certain Radio Demon, but her feelings of betrayal by those she trusted make her feel conflicted while Alastor struggles over emotions he doesn't quite understand.
