With the battle against Adam won, things somewhat return to normal at the hotel, only Angel finds Vox's video of Alastor's battle and Charlie begs her father to go make sure he's okay. Lucifer's healing encounter with the Radio Demon has some unexpected complications which will force Alastor to face what happened to him while he was missing and cause an uproar that will shake all three realms.

A red gaze sweeps Lucifer from head to hoof and back again, followed by a well-sculpted eyebrow rising pointedly.
“Yes, yes,” Lucifer says from very much not the high ground. “Pot. Kettle. I’m aware. Why do you look like shit?”
Red places his free hand on his chest, fingers spread in gentlemanly offense. “I’m merely winded from all the effort I put into saving the Pentagram from your folly.”
Uh huh. No doubt Red’s a real hero. But first, a point of clarification. “My folly?”
“When you walked straight into the most obvious ambush of all time and were used as the unwitting power source for a doomsday device that nearly killed us all.” Black-tipped ears perk forward. “Ring any bells?”
Oh, fuck him. Also, no, not really. “Well, excuse me for underestimating what you sinners are capable of. None of you have ever managed to hurt me before in all the millennia you’ve tried. I’m not used to ambushes meaning anything.”
“Hence, folly.” Red tilts his head to the side at an inhuman angle, canned laughter swelling in the background. “You’re so good at it!”

Summary
Lucifer comes to two, somewhat related, realizations regarding the most prickly resident of the Hotel after the Hotel itself keeps shoving them together.
1) Alastor is terrible at taking care of himself while being absurdly competent about taking care of literally everyone and everything else while he goes about like a rabid porcupine.
2) He might have come on a little strong during their initial meeting and he might need to soften his touch just a tad and maybe make up for the insults and the manhandling and the degrading commentary.
Lucifer decides that he's going to take care of Alastor whether he likes it or not and they are both taken off guard by how much Alastor desperately needed to be cared for and how starved for affection he is.

“I was simply pleased to see our fearless leader understood the assignment!”
Angel’s eyes narrowed. “Who keeps teachin’ ya this stuff?!”
Lucifer glanced uncomprehendingly between the two of them, craning his neck in the process, the poor thing!
“What assignment?”
“Why, the dress code of course!”
“Oh.” Lucifer looked down as if to reacquaint himself with what he was wearing. He peered back up at him, brow furrowed. “You…like it?”
Why did his face appear more red than usual? Perhaps it was the lighting.
“I do.”
Lucifer watched him suspiciously, clearly waiting for a punchline Alastor didn’t intend to provide.
AKA
The Hazbin Hotel hosts its first (and last) ever dance marathon. Alastor intends to win by any means necessary. Unfortunately for him, Lucifer is a damn good dancer and Vox is a very sore loser.
