You know those moments where the backstory in the fic isn't the backstory you have for your headcanon (but, you know, this is TF, cold-constructed Starscream is canon in that canon over there I don't work with) but you don't even care because what the author does it with is so excellent and the characterization is so utterly on-point? This is one of those moments. Fantastic Skyfire and MAGNIFICENT Starscream.
