    Sizhui started playing with Jin Ling’s hair a little as he spoke softly, “The three of us have come up with a little game to play with you tonight.” Zizhen had knelt down onto the ground in front of the bed and began to take off Jin Ling’s shoes. Jingyi crawled up onto the bed, and positioned himself behind Jin Ling, and reached around his body, beginning to stroke his chest. Zizhen started massaging Jin Ling’s tired feet.

    Jin Ling felt his body relax, and let out a mild shudder. “A— a game? What kind of game?”

    Jingyi’s voice vibrated from behind him, “Here’s how it works. Close your eyes, A-Ling. We’re going to blindfold you, and you are going to play a bit of a guessing game with us, ok?”

    Jin Ling felt another tingle go down his legs. He nodded and closed his eyes. Jingyi let out a puff of a laugh and said, “Good boy,” as he wrapped a piece of cloth around his eyes.

So when, his third year of college, he ends up roommates with one stoic Lan Wangji, he's determined to break through the man's monosyllabic responses and become his friend. And if they fuck once in a while, hell, that makes it a pretty sweet deal any way he looks at it.

    Or, in which Wei Wuxian misreads all the signals and thinks Lan Wangji just wants to be fuck buddies so he nurses what he thinks is a one-sided crush, all while Wen Ning supports them from the sidelines and Jiang Cheng suffers.
