Summary
'Kärleksbekännelse' is a sequel to 'You Are Yellow, and I Am Blue', and won't make sense without that work's context. 'Yellow/Blue' spanned a year across seasons three and four of Succession, following the schemes of Lukas Matsson and his GoJo team as they sought to come out on top of the sale of the century - the world-changing acquisition of Logan Roy's Waystar-Royco empire.
In the aftermath of that chaotic and demanding year, Lukas and Maida set in motion their plans to build an empire of their own - an ecological news-media platform, hoping such a resource will help to mitigate the global climate change crisis by empowering the planet's people and holding industry to account. Both Lukas and Maida realise that failure and ridicule are likely, and it might take more than a lifetime's work, but they can't help but make the attempt.
And Lukas, as we all can appreciate, has other plans at work ...
(A clue is in the title - 'kärleksbekännelse' means expression/declaration/confession of love ...)NOT ABANDONED. Just ... just massive, what I have planned for this. Once all written, will release chapters week-to-week 🥰🇸🇪🫡💛💙

Angsty yearning, the beauty of Aspie logic, and the awkward interactions that arise: original character meets Lukas Matsson and they grow closer. I wrote this as Succession season four came to an end, inspired by the idea that Matsson was subtly outplaying the Roys. Admittedly, after ‘Tailgate Party’ I was worried that he was gonna end up as devoid of strategy as they were, but nonetheless, this fic tells the story behind the subterfuge and strategy of Lukas and his GoJo tricksters, from the POV of the original character Lukas falls for.

High-stakes events take place a few weeks after the end of "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword". Arthur's trying to learn how to run a kingdom - one that's damaged and reeling from the end of a cataclysmic war. The Mage is trying to find her place in this new world, and everyone else is beginning to realise that Arthur's insight and leadership won't necessarily recreate the realm as it was under Uther, his father. Instead, a very different future beckons. While quelled in Britain, fallout from Vortigern and Mordred's enchanted violence spreads across Europe, and many mages are under threat, again, as a result.

Yes, yes, and more yes - get educated as to what AI creators are seeking to do to human-created work (ie monetise it - fine, that happens in this hellscape capitalistic nightmare - but strip away the human resource, therefore the absolute profound actual connection of humans connecting with humans - this cannot be replicated or mimicked by a machine. It should NOT be mimicked by a machine). The profundity of human creativity and connection and expression is being rendered an empty means of profit, only. Do read, do follow the links, do know where the line is, and where AI creators are seeking to cross it. I'm no Luddite - I love tech, love the opportunities it affords us - I'm such an early adopter of any and all tech. But, fuck me, AI sampling (without asking permission) and AI flooding the internet with empty soulless biased (ie racist, sexist) 'content' is proving itself to be a massive problem - and it's only early days so far. This will get worse, if we let it.

Tigris Snow has had a rough life, and an even rougher summer from the disastrous and bloody Tenth Hunger Games and her beloved cousin coming back from deployment different. Nevertheless, she wants to believe her Coryo's still there, that it's the system that's pushing him down a dark past. She wants to believe in her own sentiments; that people can be good, that things can change. With the Snows' fortune restored, maybe she can hope to believe she can be a person worth knowing, loving, and able to free Panem from war and despair.
Alternatively, a commotion at the black market changes everything for Tigris, perhaps for once, for the better.
