Despite what an external observer might think, neither Mizuki nor Ho'olheyak would call the other a friend with benefits. Ho'olheyak, while not quite exactly... unpleasant to be around, isn't someone Mizuki really likes to hang out with all that much, at least outside of their more purposeful meetings. Ho'olheyak, on her part, simply doesn't believe there to be anything even remotely similar to friendship between the two of them.
Kirara, on her part, has somehow convinced herself that they are lovers with romantic feelings for each other however.
As for Utage, she's not sure she can really clear up that misunderstanding, but she is nonetheless determined to help her friend steal Mizuki away from that woman.
