"This is a very simple experiment, bard." Cold blue eyes met Jaskier's. "The Witcher over there? He's dying. There's only one thing that can save him at this point."
Jaskier glanced towards Geralt apprehensively; his head lolled back. If he was conscious, he gave no sign of it.
"I want you to bond him."
Jaskier jerked, staring at the man in horror. "No."
Soul-bonding was intimate, a moment reserved in private between two people who had decided to share every joy and every sorrow. They would feel each other's pain, know if the other was on the brink of death. It was a bond that could only be forged with good intention, with the purest motive. There was no way to undo it. Bonding Geralt would mean surrendering half his soul to the Witcher, to experiencing every pain, and every woe. But worse than that. Witchers didn't have souls. Jaskier would be throwing away the greatest connection he could ever experience, for a man who would never be able to return it. Jaskier was romantic enough to admit that he wanted a romance of the ages, and a bond of certainty.
Not this.
"Let me make this easier for you: bond him, or I'll kill you."

Summary
Jaskier's final graduation project: a collection of stories about the ancient order of Witchers who lived in Kaer Morhen. He never anticipated meeting the last living Witchers -let alone grumpy Geralt who seemed to hate him was a member of their ranks. Maybe he shouldn't have proclaimed himself to be better at Witchering than Geralt... Too late now!
He thought it was going to be a summer of torment, withstanding Geralt's biting comments, but gradually Jaskier realizes he respects the other man. And if Geralt just happens to be unbelievably attractive, well, no one could fault Jaskier for falling in love before semester's end.

Summary
Bucky Barnes was kidnapped when he was a only thirteen by Hydra and raised to become the Winter Soldier. When Clint was fifteen, he was sold by his brother to Hydra where he trained under the Winter Soldier and the Swordsman's guidance. Together, Clint and Bucky manage to escape Hydra. But while Clint goes on to be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. and become their star sniper, Bucky finds himself pulled back into Hydra's clutches.
Desperate to prove he's more than just an Omega, Tony becomes the CEO of a company he thought would always become his only to discover it's not what he wanted. He escapes the control of the board and goes on a spree through the city before somehow finding his way into a fellow genius' hideout. Only, to be reunited years later with the threat of a greater superpower out hunting for Tony's head. And how did they even get control of the Hulk?
Bound together by their shared experiences at the hands of Hydra, Clint, Bruce and Bucky band together with S.H.I.E.L.D. to wipe Hydra off the map. Summary
Jaskier doesn’t actually know how much time has passed since the black-cloaked Nilfgaardians grab him after a performance in a shitty tavern in the backcountry of northern Kaedwen. He’d assumed--foolishly, apparently--that he was far enough north that any Nilfgaardian soldiers would be few and far between, likely just scouts or even deserters. It would have been hard to actually get any further north--the little backwater town where he’d been singing was just a day from the mountains. Anymore travel, and he’d find himself skirting the Trail up to Kaer Morhen, the Warlord’s Keep, and, well. He’s brazen, but not that brazen.
(or: a wandering bard bites off more than he can chew with the political ballads, accidentally makes friends with a princess in exile, and finds the Warlord of the North in his debt.)

Summary

Jaskier waited. “Are… you going to tell me what it is?”
The man paused mid-bite, and looked at him reproachfully as if to say how dare you. How dare you interrupt me. Can’t you see I’m enjoying my cheeseburger. Can’t you see this cheeseburger is the most important thing in my life right at the moment. He swallowed, and said, “Geralt.”
It turns out almost getting eaten by a werewolf can make your whole life go careening off in a new, terrifying, wondrous, artistically flourishing direction. Who knew?
