Summary
No one joins him. Not Allura. Not Shiro.
Keith looks into the emptiness of space and only sees himself.
He sees the endless black and wishes it would come for him, tear out his throat, take his sorrow with it. No one was meant to hold this much grief within them.
In which Shiro and Keith heal their friendship, the Paladins work through their grief, and they all find their way back to each other. PIcks up right after when they say goodbye to Allura in Season 8. Not epilogue-compliant.

When Keith and Shiro find themselves stranded on a planet after being attacked by the alien equivalent of Pterodactyls, they have two main goals: to survive, and to find away off the planet before they end up like extras in a certain dinosaur franchise.

A warm hand lands on his shoulder and squeezes reassuringly. “Hey, it’s okay,” Shiro says. “We’ll put out a distress beacon. It’s not like this is an abandoned quadrant. There’s bound to be a ship passing by soon enough. And in the meantime, we have water, and plenty of vegetation around.” He quirks a wry smile. “On the We’re So Doomed scale, this barely rates a two.”Until the other dinosaurs come for us, Keith thinks.

Summary
Soulmarks don’t just appear on the skin, they have to be inked by someone with the Sight. It's a very prestigious calling and one not many have the gift for. Keith is a tattoo artist who got into scamming Soulmarks as a way to get him out of his group home. He’s good at it too; he doesn’t just go around tattooing whatever he feels like. He’s a matchmaker and his matches are good, damn it. No one has a 100% success rate though, so when someone starts to get suspicious or he starts attracting too much attention, he simply picks up shop and moves on. It works for him. He's doing good work. He is!
Unfortunately, the Soulmark Enforcement Bureau does not agree.
With an agent on his trail and closing in fast, Keith really doesn't have time for things like relationships or the man at his gym who seems determined to become friends. It's getting harder and harder to remember that, however, when everything about Shiro calls to Keith like a moth to a flame.

Summary
I decided to write this after being OUTRAGED by the number of highly problematic and abusive fanfics I see on this site! Honestly I shouldn't even post it here at all, since AO3 is complicit in LITERAL SEX TRAFFICKING and ABUSE by allowing just anyone to post whatever they want. But it's the best website for posting fic. What am I supposed to do, raise money to pay for servers and use AO3's entirely, 100% open source code to start a new site that upholds REAL MORALITY? Anyways here's my fanfic. If you comment on this fic with ANY NEGATIVE OPINION it's ABUSE and I will call the FBI. I'm only 28, so if you comment on this fic at all and you're older than me, it's GROOMING and I will call the FBI.
