Nothing should have happened. At least, not—
Not to Jiaoqiu. Not when Moze had been here to protect him.
Moze runs a shaky hand through his sweaty hair. He feels faint. Jiaoqiu’s pink hair blurs, until there are two splitting images of him lying on the dirty ground. His normal golden eyes that usually shine brighter than the morning sun dull into a lifeless grey. The longer he stares the more pale the foxian gets.
Jiaoqiu. Lovely, sweet, kind, beautiful, and stunningly gorgeous Jiaoqiu… lies underneath Moze looking half dead.
He might as well be dead if Moze doesn't kick his ass into gear. Each second he spends staring at his lips that begin to lose their colour, shallowly panting for breath, is a crucial second.
“J-Just… go…” Jiaoqiu has the nerve to smile at him. It looks wrong. All wrong. Different from the soft grins or teasing smirks he’s used to getting.
This one means farewell.

Summary
After a lead on his missing brother for 12 years, Cyno find himself applying for a position at the renowned Akademiya.
What was supposed to be a simple lifestyle working at a boring job turns deadly after a rouge operation that gives him mysterious powers.
Now, he has to team up with two pairs of individuals for a chance of survival after the big boss is on his trail. The only silver lining left in this whole operation is that these people (and a suitcase) promised to help locate his missing brother.
And who is this child that continues to show up?!

Charmy’s eyes were narrowed, but they quickly widened.

---Charmy is left at the Chaotix Detective Agency for a few hours as Espio and Vector pick up a case they feel he shouldn't be on. They give him a myriad of rules, all of which Charmy seeks to break with great enthusiasm. However, danger lurks on the horizon as Eggman tries to stir up trouble. It's up to Charmy to defend the Agency while the other two are out.
