Shinsou hums an 'mhm' not looking Izuku in the eyes.
"I mean, could be worse."
Izuku makes a noise between a laugh and squeak, slapping his hands over his reddening cheeks. He turns away from Shinsou, zooming in on the photo of them. Despite their rugged appearance, he notes to himself that he will be printing this out later.
Nothing like a near death experience to bring out the photogenic side of each other them.
"You fucking CARRIED ME to the ambulance? BRIDAL STYLE?"

Izuku, post-graduation works as Pro Hero Deku, who develops questionable coping mechanisms in his personal life. Him and Shinsou have signed onto a case involving the disappearances of many pro heroes who vanished into seemingly thin air. When they eventually turn up again, it's clear that something bigger is going on.
Along with juggling the stress of a dangerous profession, he deals with all his emotions—guilt, sadness, and the particularly fond feelings he has for his best friend, Shinsou Hitoshi.

First semi serious fic but I do try and I want others to be able to enjoy.- also still figuring out how to add tags that are not searchable.
Shinsou knows that logically he is a stalker he basically goes through the list every week, stare in class (god he’s so cute) follow in the dorms (he is so bad at taking care of himself how did he get this far??) watch him as he sleeps from his balcony, walk with him in the hallways so that bitch leaves him alone, all that jazz.
But really it can’t be that bad! His dad is there to steer him in the right direction so he has a chance of dating his best friend!Izuku inherited some traits from his father who has a draconic mutation quirk including cat like eyes, weird extra organs and some….. interesting instincts he is growing into. He’s just happy to have an actual friend! (And first crush-were crushes supposed to be so all consuming?) Hitoshi has been so great and his dad has really helped him with his new quirk!

“You know,” Izuku said, taking another bite, “usually people start that sentence with ‘Can I.’”
“What’s the point of that? You don’t know what it is yet. Once you’ve heard it you can decide if you want to answer or not.”
“Fair enough,” Izuku mumbled around his mouthful.
“What’s the deal with your alignment?”
Midoriya Izuku told his landlord he didn't want an alpha roommate, but she placed Shinsou Hitoshi with him anyway. It's a disaster, sure, but Shinsou might just be the push Izuku needed to think about who he wants to be.Series
