He’d fought by himself for so long, he’d fought with so many people and made many allies throughout his time. He’d also lost those allies and was now back to being alone and all of it was by his own stupid selfishness and fear of death. Sometimes, he wondered if things would’ve been better if he wasn’t damned to immortality by his own hand. If he could have that fresh slate that everyone who joined the reincarnation line could have. It wasn’t possible, being who he was, but the thought was nice…
His tired golden eyes looked over the sea and the rising sun, the wind ruffling his fur as he gazed out at it, before a thought crossed his mind. It wasn’t a fully thought out plan, but it was a plan that could work…if he had the right person help him.
