"My dream is to die with honor," Sakura replied almost instantly.
Kakashi was a little taken aback. It wasn't the kind of response he expected from a girl her age. Judging by the way she talked about that boy, Kiba, he would have expected something more focused on him or something more superficial. Perhaps some kind of crush, or maybe the idea of being a powerful kunoichi. I expect anything, except for a twelve-year-old girl dreaming of an honorable death.

“It means dead in battle, Naruto. They all died on missions,” Sakura whispered. “My name will be there someday too.” He murmured. If his name was there, then his parents would be proud because he’d brought honor to the clan. He would erase the shame his birth had brought. His purpose would be fulfilled.
The blonde’s smile vanished immediately. Sasuke’s eyes tightened.
"Somehow, that didn’t seem like the best thing to say here." Inner warned him—and Sakura didn’t understand why. After all, wasn’t dying honorably a good thing?

The man sits back, obviously frustrated. ‘Yes,’ he snaps, pulling the mask off and casting it to one side, ‘Of course it’s me.’
Kakashi’s mouth drops open, because Obito is beautiful. He’s grown into the dark aristocratic features of the clan better than Kakashi could ever have imagined, with high cheekbones, a regal bearing and no hint of the baby fat he had as a child. This Obito is lean and muscled, and just a perfect tapestry of scars…
He reaches his fingers up to touch them, because they’re his – he knows without asking. On the same side as the boulder Obito saved him from, and he should be dead but he’s not…
They pull as Obito smiles, stretching like creased fabric, and Kakashi’s heart feels like it’s overflowing. But there’s something vaguely smug about the grin and he only figures out what it is when his former teammate waggles a book in his immediate line of sight.
‘Gotcha.’

Obito,’ he tries for about the tenth time, ‘Why don’t you sit down? We could talk.’
The response is a predictably angry glare. ‘I have nothing to say to you.’
Oh well. It was worth a try.

LittleRainstorm was live.
Was he really feeling so bold as to do his stream in the living room? It made Obito’s blood rush south at how risky a thing that is when there’s every possibility for him to arrive home early and take Kakashi by surprise. Event cut short, forgot something at home- He could walk through the doors and find him in such an exposed state at any moment.
As shitty a move as it was, he couldn’t help but go back to his friends making an excuse about not feeling well. Hell if he wasn’t going to be stupid and take one massive fucking leap, but god how he wanted to see Kakashi’s face flush red with the shame of being caught, to see his entirely bare body that the camera never got to catch.
Obito was quick with his keys, sure the second he turned the lock it would alert the other, pulling the door open immediately to find a head of silver whip around to look at him over the back of the couch.
And oh, didn’t he look pretty in pink?
