As a child, Wolfwood always struggled to memorise scripture and prayer. It didn't help that the words on the page flit about whenever he glanced away, or that the lessons often took place while he was recovering from days of constant pain or having a cocktail of drugs pumped into his system. That isn't to say he doesn't understand it, however.

Summary
Crocodile never expected to be brought to heel, and certainly not by the blonde cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. After a chance meeting on Momoiro turns to something more, suddenly Crocodile can't get enough. Everything about Sanji draws him in-- from his cooking, to his wit, to the curve of his smile. He wants more. He wants whatever Sanji will give him, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to keep him. Even if that means putting aside his pride to join the crew of the rubber boy who took him down.

And so he brings 5-year-old Hawks back to Shizuoka with him to become Todoroki Keigo.
