Summary
The mere weeks after the god games, the other gods were still keeping a close eye on athena, being much more observed after finding out about the many problems they failed to catch on in their sister. One thing they quickly noticed was how lonely she seemed. Sure she had her mortal friends on ithaca, even managing to come to friendly terms with odysseus again but she still lacked real company. The fates, ofcourse, took notice of this too and decided to carefully form an immortal companion out of the goddess' loneliness and her yearning.

Summary
The king of the underworld should've already suspected this when he last saw Hermes, his nephew's mood having been off. though he hadn't thought much of it, writing it off as just zeus overworking his own son again. But when his lovely Persephone returned to the underworld earlier than usual, a barely conscious Athena with her, Hades was quickly aware that, whatever was happening up on olympus, Zeus' horrible parenting abilities had definitely played a part in it.
(Stories from Styx has me in a chokehold and i want more #1 uncle hades stuff. and i also just want to bash on zeus)

After a pause, he tilted his head. “So… how powerful am I now, exactly?”
The voice did not answer immediately. “There is no precise measure for what you are now.”
“Useless answer.” His eyes narrowed, sharp with irritation. “Fine. Guess I’ll test it myself.”
He lifted one hand, curling his fingers into the shape of a mock gun. His eyes locked onto a cluster of trees further away. No staff. No Soul Jam. Just himself. Truthfully, he wasn’t asking for much power, just simply enough “Let’s see…”
He snapped his thumb down. A ball of glowing light formed at his fingertip, then shot forward into the woods.
For a moment, nothing.
Shadow Milk exhaled through his teeth, disappointment washing over him. “Pathetic. Not even—”
A deafening boom tore through the silence.
The ground shook. Trees vaporized into splinters. The forest itself wailed as a blinding explosion erupted, tearing an enormous crater into the earth.
Shadow Milk froze, his smirk dying instantly.
“What… was that?” His voice shook, awe and terror mixed for his own self.

He couldn’t just throw that all away! Centuries of building up a glorious reputation, a title that alone instilled terror into Crispia, all because some delusional light cookie that aimed to replace him thought he was misguided.
He’d be mocked, the talk of the town! Yours truly, THE Shadow Milk Cookie, reduced to nothing but gossip fodder.
He could see it now;
“Have you heard?” Cookies would whisper. “The great Master of Deceit has been placated by Pure Vanilla! How pathetic!”
Not to mention what the other Beasts would think. How disappointed they’d be that their friend, the one that had once been the strongest of them all, had fallen so easily to a few false promises.
“Poor darling…” Eternal Sugar would sigh, closing her eyes. “Tempted so easily by pretty lies!”

Summary
It would not be incorrect to assume that the homes of the Beasts had life of their own. They had been soaking in the power of the souljams for centuries, long before dividing them came to mind.
It would just be easier if they stopped doting on their Ancients.

Summary
Lafayette and Hercules have had a more intimate relationship throughout the course of the war, but because of how much they were apart, their relationship stayed casual - neither was ready to commit when they hardly saw each other. After the war was finally won, Lafayette goes home with Hercules, and they spend their days together, finally able to just be with one another. That came with one big caveat - Lafayette was leaving for France in only a few short days. They find themselves running out of time, which only pushes them closer.
