God, she was so fucking mad at herself. How could she have been so stupid?
And what's even worse, she'd dragged Dylan in to die with her. Dylan, who got his fucking hand cut off and was suffering from blood loss and probably shock, but still managed to save her life back at the scrapyard.
And now it's all going to be for nothing, just because Kaitlyn didn't take a quick second to make sure the door didn't latch.

Kaitlyn drags Dylan into the freezer with her to escape werewolf Caleb, but despite having avoided a death by mauling, both of them are now trapped and in danger of freezing to death. The clock is ticking; will they make it to morning, or will hypothermia finish what the werewolves failed to do?

Despite all this, Dylan Lenivy’s hands have never seen this much blood—not his own, anyway. It decorates his whole arm in crimson, soaking into his clothes.
His hands have never been separated from his body via the guy he’s into before either, but there’s a first time for everything, he figures.
(or: Dylan is used to his hands being a little torn up. This is worse.)
