Death took her in for the first time, in complete silence. Her form looked a lot like Agatha's, except for some subtle, unsettling differences. Agatha felt the burn of hatred at the belonging that came from existing in her proximity, held onto it with a vice grip. Something seemed to dawn on Death's mind. Her gaze turned tortured with understanding.
"Everything you are not," she replied, and then in a softer tone, "everything you can't bring yourself to be."

Summary
A lovely blush of undiluted homicidal rage crawls through Laudna's cheeks, the thin vessels dilating along with Imogen's own pupils. Laudna's chest raises against hers, stills for the longest second of her entire life, and then, mercifully, releases.
"Sometimes I can't decide if I want to claw your eyes out or your clothes off," are the words she uses her held breath for, and Imogen takes immense pleasure in the fact that Laudna has to look up through her lashes to hold her gaze.
"And what are my odds right now?"

Summary
It's late into the night and yet so very far away from dawn. Ruidus' glow filters through the opening on the highest part of the dome that works as a laboratory in the Calloway's hideaway, seemingly stronger than Catha's for brief intervals. The ominous hue silhouettes the neck of the snake-like contraption parting the sky in two sets of wide, reddish moonbeams, right down the middle. Laudna frets considering the possibility of a nightmare happening right as she gazes on in a daze, unable to rip her eyes away. Her fingers are loosely clasped in Imogen's hand, Laudna's attention finally settles instead on the rise and fall of her chest for a number of minutes.
Laudna can almost hear Delilah rummaging through her memories and pulling the victories she's acquired through their time together to play behind her eyelids, rejoicing.

Summary
Agatha reaches for the idol and Rio uses the couple inches she has on Agatha to keep it out of reach. Agatha growls at her. Oh, this is fun. Every time Rio’s been on this show before, she and Agatha worked together as a well-oiled machine. Until it all went sour. But it’s never been like this, never a push and pull, out here where they are closer to nature, where they are closer to being their animal selves. Rio likes it far more than she should.
Agatha shoves her to the ground and Rio goes willingly, still holding the idol out of reach of Agatha’s wanting hands. Rio fondly remembers when those hands wanted her.

“So you want a picture of me to convince everyone back home that you’re going on a date… instead of just going on a date?”
Agatha clicks and points at Rio, “Now you’re getting it.”

Agatha needs to convince her son and her friends that she’s having the whirlwind vacation romance of a lifetime. Probably so they don’t think she’ll die alone. That’s where Rio (who she knows absolutely nothing about) comes in.
