Summary
Will is captured by Vecna once again, forced to live through different realities, and one thing remains constant about every single one; Mike and Will are in a relationship. Is this just a tease from Vecna to break Will even more or is there a deeper meaning behind each reality?
At first, Will can't seem to remember why he is there in the first place, why and how he is switching realities. Will struggles to understand his situation as he falls deeper and deeper in love with Mike with every reality before it gets torn from under his feet.
Will he ever get back to his Mike safely? Will it even matter that he gets back? Mike doesn't like him the way the Mikes do in the alternate realities.

Mike looked up at Will with slow blinking eyes. “The paladin was never brave. Certainly not enough for a divinely powered cleric. Blinded by the stone of the mage,” Mike tilted his head. “But the cleric had chosen him at some point. Made the paladin believe he was brave,” Mike tripped over this sentence repeatedly.
He leaned back and downed another shot without breaking eye contact with Will. “Does Will the Wise still choose his paladin?” A look of jealousy crosses his face. “Or did he find a class that better complemented him?”

Summary
The world hadn't ended when he'd shown Mike the celebrity magazine Jonathan had got him, the glossy pages flipped open to the picture of David Bowie, with his bright orange hair, and shimmery nails. The world hadn't ended when he whispered how cool he thought he was, because Mike hadn't made a face, or called him weird. Mike thought he was cool too.
Or- three times Mike and Will talked about David Bowie, and one time Mike almost got a terrible haircut because of it.

Summary
There’s a loud clatter as Mike Wheeler springs back from the phial of Amorentia after smelling it like it’s about to bite him, his hip slamming into the edge of a nearby desk. The impact sends it wobbling, and a potion book skids off the surface, hitting the floor with an unceremonious thud.
Mike glares at the book as if it personally offended him, making no move to pick it up.
Then he looks up—and catches Will’s eyes.
His face collapses instantly, twisting into something between horror and grief, and he drags his hands over his face like that might undo whatever just happened.
“Oh my god,” he says, muffled. “I’m so screwed.”
“What the actual fuck, Mike?” Max says flatly.
