Alec fell into hell, and his parabatai bond with Jace broke while he was down there. He came back, thank fuck, but he's not the same. According to him, it was a lot longer than a month. Try closer to eternity.

Super slowburn and deeply messy fic In Which Alec Lightwood prefers to go by Alex now and Jace Wayland has to cope with the loss of the person he knew and the gain of someone who is just close enough to make his heart ache. Everyone's got Big feelings, and they're not great at sifting through them.
Plus, a large side of demonic incursions, infernal plots, and lots hellish politics. What happened in Hell doesn't stay there, after all.

Hughie has only glimpsed Supe kids. Stillwell’s kid and Ryan, who's always looked more like Becca than Homelander. Which is kinda funny. If anything, it’s John who looks more like Homelander, practically a spitting image—
