What was Plasmius doing here, and why was he the one of all people who had taken the place of Sam and Tucker at this moment? At least that’s what he was hoping would be happening – ok, no. No way. Vlad being the person who was rescuing him? That was insane.

Summary
It's the 1930s, and Amity Park is soon to be the center of a rising conflict between its underworld of vampires and the humans who unknowingly promenade on top of it. Danny Fenton is unwittingly thrown into it when he's bitten by one, and in the haze of the turn, barely escapes with his life. On the bright side, he's still able to walk in the sun, and break other well-known vampire laws, so his secret is safe for now from his vampire-hunting parents. In the meantime, he takes it upon himself to protect his friends, family, and the citizens of his town from the supernatural evil he's discovered lurking around every corner.

Summary
He was dying. He could feel it.
Danny lay on a detached rock in the Ghost Zone, struggling to take each oncoming breath. Danny grimly wondered, for a moment, what would happen if he simply stopped putting the effort in to breathe. Would his human side continue to fight the losing battle to live, or would his ghost half simply welcome it?
Maybe that was a question he should have asked the scientists he’d barely managed to fly away from.

After Danny's parents take away more than what the half-ghosts could have ever imagined, Vlad doubles down on his desire to mold Danny into the son he's always dreamed of. However, it's going to take much more work than before.

He couldn’t survive this. Not unless there's something major he isn’t telling her.
And then she remembers there is.

Valerie and Danny are kidnapped by the GIW due to their anomalous ectoplasmic radiation readings. In the lab, they're put trough testing to determine whether or not they still count as human. Danny struggles with the cost of keeping his secrets to avoid hurting Valerie, while Valerie grapples with the real ramifications of her suit’s technology and how ghostly she's becoming. Together they must both face their truths if they want to get out alive.

The grief seemed to have mellowed Daniel out dramatically. Vlad had been expecting a quite violent reaction when he’d exercised his right as godfather to take the teenager in as his own, but there had been barely any response to the news.
It’s a good thing, Vlad thought to himself, that he is so reserved right now. The less spirited he is, the less he fights. He’d been repeating it to himself several times every day, but it didn’t stop him from feeling slightly more shattered with each blank stare and placid agreement Daniel gave him.
