Summary
Kurosawa Yuuichi doesn’t, as a rule, go out drinking himself.
For one thing, he is asked out drinking for work often enough that a glass of wine can feel like a burden. He associates the taste of alcohol with having to be “on” and not himself. He associates it with handsy women and jokes told too loud and splitting headaches. So it’s not something he really needs or wants to do for pleasure. When he does drink, it’s generally because he’s got something he needs to stop thinking about.
Doesn’t always work, honestly.
But tonight he’s drinking by himself, in a little dive bar in Roppongi, when the door opens and the tallest man Kurosawa has ever seen walks in.

Summary
Nozue and Togawa's first New Years as a couple rapidly approaches. They're as blissful as can be... until Togawa gets a call from his sister- whom he had never even informed Nozue exists prior to that- asking to stay with him the weekend after next. The idea of meeting each other's families brews unusual tension between them. Resolving the matter will require them to look inward and face each other with honest and open hearts.
Togawa’s words to him in that alley always came to his mind whenever he was at his most insecure about their relationships. That their age and minority status didn’t matter.
“It’s not necessarily that,” Togawa released him, balling a tight fist. He was a tall, eye catching man, but his posture and demeanor made him feel oddly small, “I’m more afraid of you-”
Realization hit Nozue aggressively.
He took an astonished step backwards as his heart sunk into his stomach. Togawa thought-
“You think if they didn’t accept us, I’d leave you?”
