[ He clawed at the ground until his hand met the muddy grass. He dragged himself up, staring at the waterfall. The sound of rushing water and rain against tin filled his mind again. He sat there, his gasps for air lessening as the adrenalin wore off. The water rose and retreated at his feet, a rise then a fall, a rise then a fall.
