After Thanos was defeated and everyone returned from the dust, the world slowly healed and went back to normal. After the last snap, Harley got a call from Tony where he was asked to come to New York. Of course, Harley immediately left because he wanted to confirm the billionaire's condition after such a devastating war with Thanos and his alien army. He also wanted to know what happened during the battle and who doing the snap.
Little did he know that he would immediately meet the hero who had saved the world there who turned out to be younger than him which also on the other hand made him fall in love with the hero. Even the said hero is a mess.

Or what if it's long abandoned and now haunted? Oooh! Wouldn't that be fun? Hunting ghosts in HYDRA's old base, I really want to try catching ghosts.” Peter stated at length. He was clearly excited as he jumped up and down like an excited dog on a walk. Tony and the others who had memorized Peter's thoughts and enthusiasm just smiled and chuckled.
“Seriously, you seem to have watched too many ghost hunting themed movies.” said Tony.
“I know you're eager to fight, Kid. But, ghost hunting? I don't think that will be necessary.” said Clint.
“Well, I don't think that is impossible. You should know nothing is impossible after all we've been through.” said Stephen serious.

Happy hurries into the penthouse and finds Tony, Pepper, and Peter standing in the kitchen, Tony aiming his repulser at Peter. “Tony! What are you doing?”
"Intruder. Had my back turned making coffee and I turned around and he was just sitting there."
“That’s not an intruder, it’s Peter. What’s wrong with you? Lower that thing before somebody gets hurt.”
“I’ve never seen this kid before. How'd he slip past security?"
"This is Peter Parker Stark, your son. You adopted him."
“I adopted some random kid?”
Peter’s breath hitches and his shoulders fall. He wants to press his face into Happy’s back and cry. “Not some random kid,” Happy says, voice hard. “Your kid. Peter.”
OR
Tony spent five years mourning Peter after he'd been snapped. He'd invented time travel to bring him back, almost died, had risked everything for him. When Peter is snapped back to life, he can't believe that the Starks actually want him to be part of their family. He spends six months doubting it. He's finally starting to believe that they want and love him when he wakes up one morning and comes out of his room to find that Tony and Pepper don't remember him at all, even though everyone else does.

Sharp pain, and it takes control of his whole body and he’s frozen, paralyzed and he can’t even yell out, he can’t even scream for his son to hide, and he falls backwards into someone’s grasp and he can see the man with the food at the fucking door, but Tony gets dragged away, over to the living room.
Obie deposits him on the couch, lowering him down.

Peter stumbled over his paws, as he attempted to limp over to the broken mirror in front of him, his eyes in slits as he stared at his reflection, attempting to suck in a breath but it came out more like a strangled yowl.
What stared back at the vigilante was a brown tabby cat with a white underside and white muzzlepads that snaked up to his bridge, along with white socks with long fur, piercing, dark brown eyes that were torn into slits staring right back at him, and various injuries from the battle split across the fur.
