Summary
Tommy was miles from home, bloody and panting, stumbling through the dirty streets as he did his best to cover his tracks. There was no doubt in his mind that Dream would be after him, and this time, he wouldn’t take so long to kill him.
Tommy couldn’t do this anymore. He wished the heroes had killed him the moment they first caught him. Even now, having escaped, he wanted to die. He just didn’t want to be alone as he did it.
But he had nothing and no one. He was alone.
His exhausted mind drifted to the only people he deemed important enough to want to be close to.
He wanted to die. Siren, the Blade, and the Angel of Death wanted to kill him. It was a match made in heaven.
And anyway, what was one more chase?

"Medical leave, huh?" A voice begins behind him. "Red, if I'd known this was what finally got you to resign, I would have done it ages ago."
And, yep. There it was. The feeling of dread and uneasiness in his stomach returns full force, like whiplash. Though he doesn't believe he could stomach turning around to confront it head-on. At the very least, not yet.
And maybe if he works hard enough, he'll never have to.

Tommy's a hero trying his best. Then whoops a big bad villain comes by and ruins his life. Then whoops again, he comes back for giggles.

Summary
New Year’s Eve was one of Tommy’s favorite holidays. Blowing shit up in a controlled way was beyond epic. He loved it. Well, he loved it whenever he could actually celebrate it. This one holiday he liked, and yet he couldn’t even enjoy it properly because they’d gotten a fucking call and now everything had gone to shit. Sometimes he hated being a superhero.
