That earns him a narrowed glance from Bakugou. “No, that’s exactly what he does, he compliments everyone. He does that to you too, you should know. Always blabbing about how cool your hardening is,” he turns back to his desk, closing the open textbooks and neatly setting them aside on his bookshelf.
“Bakugou. He didn’t even notice I was here.”
Bakugou freezes, halfway through zipping up his backpack.
Kirishima smirks. Irrefutable evidence. “Dude, has it ever occurred to you that maybe, Midoriya’s compliments are actually genuine? Like he’s not just saying that shit. He sounds like he really means it,” he suggests, trying to keep his voice even and casual.
Bakugou doesn’t move, but his red eyes uncharacteristically widen, just the slightest bit.

During the time it takes Aizawa and UA's staff to find a solution, he have to keep his eyes on the floor as much as he can, to prevent any accident. Bakugo is charged to help Deku around, since Katsuki seems unaffected by the quirk's effects... Izuku is not sure all of this will end well.

“Speak! Now!” Katsuki ordered, gritting his teeth and fixing Kaminari with a death glare.“W- what are you talking about?” the other asked, holding up his hands placatingly.
“I mean, the fact that you told everyone that me and stupid Deku are a…” he hesitated, a displeased expression on his face, “a couple.”
“Oh,” Kaminari exhaled, relaxing a bit on the couch, “I didn’t think it was a secret. You two have no shame. You’re so obvious about it.”
“I don’t understand,” Izuku finally spoke. “We’re not together, Kaminari. Where did you even get that idea?”
Kaminari sees Midoriya come out of Bakugou's room one morning and accidentally (maybe) starts a landslide of rumors and misunderstandings.
