    Summary

The defeat of the Fire Lord was meant to mark the end of the war. But when the Gaang arrives at the Caldera, they find Fire Lord Zuko waiting for them. That's when they learn that Azula has an older brother and ending a 100-year war may not be as straightforward as they thought.
Zuko may be worse than Azula. At least they could just fight her.

Undeniably the best politics-focused post-war fic. Zuko is written as incredibly competent, and in control of his emotions. Azula and Zuko’s relationship is heartwarming, and yet they both still keep their character traits, which is hard to do. I especially love the deep-dive into what it really mean to end the war, instead of vague fantastical terms. Aang and the Gaang are pointed out for all their flaws in their thought processes about the Fire Nation, which I absolutely adore. Every character is fallible, especially morally, and this fic really dives into that concept.

Azula and Zuko are now finally back on the same wavelength! Kinda... Sadly, being reunited with your best friend doesn't mean that your hallucinations and paranoia suddenly stop popping up when it's the least convenient.
Oh well, hopefully the Gaang will learn to live with a new member in their group, even if said member is the guy who killed Aang that one time.

AHH. This is insane. A role reversal with Azula and Zuko, but the still have core character traits! It’s written to beautifully, especially how their experiences shaped them. It really is interesting to see Azula as the morally correct (mostly) sane one, and Zuko with his mind turned against him by Ozai. The plot is very well done, and I can’t wait until it really stays advancing past character-focused only. I really want to know what happened with Iroh, and what he will think when he sees Azula and Zuko again!

    Summary

It’s been three years since the Agni Kai where Zuko lost everything. He is no longer a Prince, he is not allowed to return home, and he’s long since sworn off firebending. He is destined not for greatness, but to spend his life alone.

That is, until a very stubborn Water Tribesman comes along, and everything begins to change.

    Bookmarker's Notes

One of the best Zuko fics I’ve ever read. The character development was insane, the way that no plot point was left forgotten, it’s just incredible. I loved the little callback at the end from the first chapters, like the crowds cheering, and the moon, and the late-night brooding. Zuko himself was brilliantly characterized, with his martyrdom attitude all borne from his belief that everyone in the world matters more than him, simply because he can’t live with losing another person. Beautiful story.

    Summary

Peter Parker has been dead for six months.

Six months, three days, and 18 hours.

At least, that's what everyone things. Even Tony Stark, though he'd kill rather than admit it. But then a school in Queens is blown up and suddenly Peter Parker is back on the radar.

Except he's not Peter Parker anymore.

He doesn't even remember who that is.

    Summary

When the Avengers are kidnapped and locked away in an underground bunker, they discover a second prisoner across from them: a terrified, asthmatic 9-year-old boy named Peter. Malnourished and traumatized, Peter has been kept in isolation for months, forced to fix technology against his will. The Avengers don’t know him—but they know he’s just a kid, and he doesn’t belong in that cage.
After escaping, they take Peter in, protect him, and begin helping him recover. As Peter slowly learns how to feel safe again, he finds a new home with the very heroes he once only saw on TV—and maybe, even a new family.
