By the time Wangji had been born, the threat of war had been looming over the sects for years. Still, nearly four decades had passed since then with little more than veiled threats and small squabbles. Until now.
A few months ago, Wen Ruohan had named himself Chief Cultivator, it was as good as a declaration of war.
