Ochaco pushed the door open before pulling herself and Izuku through. Izuku registered the chill air and darkened sky and nothing more, other than Ochaco’s arm wrapped through his own.
“Your Highness,” a voice said from their side, startling Ochaco.
Her grip on Izuku’s arm tightened briefly in her fright. She made a motion as if trying to tug herself and her friend out of danger’s way, before finally seeming to realize that it was just a guard who had been waiting outside the door.
“Oh! Good evening Sir!” she yelped, then scratched at the back of her head with her free hand. “Sorry, I probably should’ve guessed there’d be guards out here! And who might you be?”
The guard made a sound of irritation.
“Sir Bakugo. I was knighted a few weeks ago,” he explained. “I’ve been assigned to escort His Highness back to the castle. And you are?”
