The room was silent.
"That is the difference between you and me. You would send him to Tartarus to rot for the rest of his life. I would kill him, so he could never harm another person again. 'When there's a will, there's a way.' He would try to break out of Tartarus, and if he succeeded, all hell would break loose."
In which a girl under the pseudonym of 'the Fox' is captured and given an ultimatum: go to Tartarus and rot, or go to UA and try to rebuild her life, leaving the past behind her.

Deep green eyes opened, staring at her with terrified shock. With his unbroken hand, he reached out, grabbing her forearm desperately. A buzz of energy jolted up her arm and through her body, and the effect it had was immediate.
"P-Please!" He begged, grip tightening. "Help me!"
She took him in her arms, pulling him into her chest by his collar and wrapping around him protectively. With his breath uneven and pained, his unbroken hand slid around her waist and clung to the back of her shirt in his panic. She sent him a smile.
"You did great." She dipped low enough for only him to hear.
Staring up at her through the tears, he blinked. For a moment he looked surprised as he took in her face, but then he fell limp in her hold, forehead dropping against her shoulder.

The concept seemed to mesmerize Kirishima as he started, “She wants…” Seemingly entranced, he dragged his tongue over his lips as he contemplated the notion.
Meanwhile, Todoroki appeared somewhat stupefied, blinking as he echoed, “...our scents…” It was as though the mere thought was sufficient to short-circuit his thought process.
Midoriya, on the other hand, growled out his response, “...for her nest.” His jaw tightened to the point that it audibly creaked under the strain, reflecting his intensity.
Though, a fierce snarl snapped them out of it.
"Enough," Bakugou hissed, his voice deadly calm, echoing around the room, silencing the whispers and mutterings of the others. His gaze was hard, daring anyone to challenge him. No one did. It was clear he was serious, and the possessive aura radiating off of him was undeniable. “Don’t even think about touching her, nerd.”

Summary
Being named after the stars was a common thing, people see their beauty and their magnificence, and they want it for their own. Stars hold a sense of wonder, of power, of time and space and everything in-between. They have an innocence to them, a feeling of safety, of a higher being looking down on the world, glistening from the galaxies.
Stella was named after these stars, but not for any of the above reasons. Her name was chosen because stars were made up of fire, they burned brightly- just as she did. She had spent her whole life being Nick Fury's super-powered child assassin, it was all she knew and the main lesson he had taught her was to kill or be killed. She was his brightest star, his favorite killing machine- but everybody knows stars shine their brightest when they are about to burn out.
When SHIELD falls, and she is suddenly at risk of being exposed, Fury sends her to his other heroes, the Avengers, and Stella learns there's a whole lot more to life than Nick Fury had ever taught her.
Or, Tony Stark has a problem not adopting troubled and parentless children, especially ones that shine brightly once he enters a room.
