Summary
Spike never has behaved the way Buffy expected... not even when he's a feral demon.
At the end of 'Lover's Walk,' instead of sending his goons to fight Spike, Mayor Wilkins sends them to capture him. When they return with the vampire and a bonus Slayer, Wilkins injects them with some new drugs he got from Professor Walsh over at the university. With Buffy stripped of her strength and Spike stripped of his human traits, all the Mayor has to do is lock them in a room and let the Slayer of Slayers do what he does best.
Buffy wakes up weak, injured, in chains, and at the complete mercy of her mortal enemy. Yet instead of torturing and killing her, Spike frees her and tends her wounds. She can't ask him why, because he's nonverbal. The two of them form a bond, depending on each other to escape. By the time Buffy and Spike get free of the Mayor's clutches, everything between them has changed... as has everything Buffy thought she knew about demons.Bookmarked by MAD_AGE2019

Summary
There are pros and cons to being shipped off to Nevermore. The Pros— she'll finally be going to school with people who aren't put off by a bit of carnage which means she might actually enjoy being there. Hell, she might even make a few friends or go on a date just to see what the fuss is about. The Cons— being sent to Nevermore out of all the outcast schools in America means she's trapped under the weight of her parents' own time there. It's a blatant attempt to get her to follow in her mother's footsteps, one Wednesday refuses to fall prey to.
Of course, that doesn't mean she can't find a way to thread the needle and get the best of both worlds. Wednesday is criminally clever, if anyone can find a way to vivisect the Teen Experience™ and spite their mother's expectations at the same time it's her. The serial murder investigation is really just icing on the poisoned cake.

Summary
He missed Steve like air. There was nothing that could fill the star-spangled hole he left in his life.
But Peter makes it better.
Being around Parker was like bathing on sunlight after a long, dark winter. He made the gaping hole in his chest feel like something bearable.
It was almost as if he could breathe, then. Like that inner goodness was like oxygen. And the notes were different, his and Steve’s, but it was air all the same, and it was finally breathable again.
Like that inner light he inherently had in him was a north pole, pulling him on its magnetic field.

Summary
Xavier Thorpe’s eyes have not left her face. The high of the kill is wearing off, but he doesn’t seem fazed, not in the way a normal person would be. The blood staining his face highlights the plane of bone, the shape of his skull perfectly. She wonders what sort of monster she is prepared to open her heart to. “Will you pay me court?” she asks, interrupting his thoughts.
He stares at her. “Miss Addams,” he says at last – because of course he’s guessed who she is – “I would love to.” He smiles at her, the boyish charm in contrast is as jarring as it is swoon-worthy. Disgusting. Wednesday loves it at once.
