To insure that he wouldn’t turn on her she made sure he would imprint on the the first person he saw when he awoke, unfortunately he awakens early, around the same time two of her assistants are looking at a news article of a certain snipers arrest.
And so she will get her wish but as a mangled ghost that can only watch from the back of her creation’s mind as he rises to heights that she never thought possible.
