Summary
It had taken a few years after their debut for Namjoon even to begin to show the softer side of himself. The leader had convinced himself that he had to be this masculine and edgy kid to be a good leader and rapper in the industry. Slowly, Namjoon began to open up to them over time, and Seokjin will always be proud of him for that.
Whenever Namjoon's brain needs a break, Seokjin is there for him.

Mike looked at him unimpressed. “See you say that. You say that. But you never actually mean it.” He flung his hands out, gesturing at him. “You’re always making stupid promises that you can’t keep.”
Will gaped at him. This was ludicrous. “Name one promise that I haven’t kept!”
“You keep leaving!” Mike burst out. He practically shouted it. If the outburst took him by surprise, he didn’t show it. “Everytime I just get you back you end up leaving again. And it was fine at first, I guess. With the Upside Down and the MindFlayer. Like at least then we knew how to bring you back. But now there’s nothing taking you away but you still aren’t here. And I can’t figure out why. I’ve racked my brain trying to understand what’s going on with you but I just don’t get it! We’re supposed to be best friends but lately it’s only felt like that on my side of things.”
____The Upside Down is gone. Or so everyone keeps telling him. But Will knows the truth. You can burn all the vines and close all the gates. But you can’t flush out a virus once it’s already been spread. After all, how do you kill something that’s intertwined with the very root of Hawkins without affecting the real world?

Summary
Mike Wheeler has had several moments of clarity in his life.
Some small- so small they arrive as whispers, delicate impressions. They pass through him like half-formed thoughts, leaving behind embossed truths that only become crisp upon later inspection.
Others are seismic shifts, sudden and catastrophic, splitting him open and demanding his attention. Every one of them is significant. He just hasn’t always been very good at recognizing them when they happen. He’s better now. At least, he’s getting there.

Or, Mike Wheeler is entirely in love with Will Byers. It just took him a while to realize, to understand. In reality, his love for Will has always been innate- a part of who he is, inseparable from himself. The only problem is, Mike is pretty sure Will has moved on, that he’s gotten over his crush. Max arches a brow. “Carlton, though? You two are dating and you don’t even kiss? Is it just a preference thing?”
Will sighs, resigned. He drops his hands. “Okay. Honestly?” He hesitates, then shrugs. “He was a bad kisser. And I just… couldn’t get excited around him. At all.”
The reaction is immediate and merciless. Dustin makes a dramatic gagging noise. El gasps like she’s been handed gossip gold. Lucas high-fives Max, shaking her hand in his.
Mike doesn’t say anything. He just watches Will, watches the way he shrugs it off, the way he laughs a little too loud, the way his ears go red.
Or, Will's new boyfriend is a bad kisser. Mike thinks it's a crime that no one has kissed Will properly. He's on a goal to change that, Carlton be damned.
