When Vongole arrived, a few days after State vs. Misham, she did so with a neatly-packed crate of all her supplies, plus a dog bed and two 10 kilo bags of premium-grade dog food that were too big to fit, and an A4 manila envelope from the solicitor. Inside the envelope were the certificates of Vongole’s pedigree and the transferral of ownership papers. That last document was signed by Kristoph’s hand. There was nothing else. Klavier checked more times than he’d care to admit.

LOVE the characterization and the interactions. narrative style was nice too as it handled canon events and did a wonderful job weaving a narrative around them. the exchanges between klavier and simon were extremely fun to read(+ the parallels of simon and kristoph!!!) and seeing taka bring them together warmed my heart so much. left a horrendously long comment but there’s so much right with this fic.
“So you were just going to let me find out with no warning one day that you are now dead and gone?”
The light glints off his eyes when he opens them, glaring with all the precision and force of a hawk about to strike. “Yes, I was,” he says. “And you were not to wallow in it.” He sits up straighter but keeps his head bowed, scowling out from beneath his hair and the chasms around his eyes. “But seeing now that you appear imbecilic enough to care for me in some regard, consider it a practice run for when the rope necklace takes its long-deserved place around your dear brother’s neck. Did you beg him for an answer that was anything but the truth, too?”
Klavier feels like he has swallowed an icicle sideways — no, not swallowed. Had it lodged horizontally into his throat from the outside in.

assumedly supposed to be a multi-chapter fic that was discontinued in 2015 but the interactions in this are literal gold. edgeworth forcing simon to be social, simon buying literal ~$200 earplugs just to sit and watch birds while methodically doing the bare minimum to be social, klavier forcefully ignoring his distaste.
He grinned to himself. Yes… What was the PowerPoint theme that looked most like blood?
the characterization in this fic is amazing and i giggled quite a bit. in a kinder universe this fic was finished but at least this one chapter is here.
