Distantly inspired by the vibes of such movies as Lady and the Tramp, and the futuristic apocalyptic anime Wolf's Rain.Inuyasha is a hanyou stray, finding shelter under porches within city limits. Cities are where humans live, the war for segregation and suppression 50 years prior. Barriers keep youkai out of the cities and in the wild beyond, and those who make it inside lose access to their youki.
After a crash on the next block shatters the evening peace, Inuyasha finds himself rescuing a wolf youkai and determined to get him home. Racing against time, injury, and the new moon, Inuyasha and Kouga find themselves growing closer.*~Apocalyptic AU~*
