“Come on, kid,” someone says, rubbing his sternum with bruising fingers. Dennis desperately tries to swat the hands away, the bone already sensitive from the weight of the patient from just moments ago. “Open your eyes, Whitaker, come on. Look at me. Open your eyes.”
He twitches, his limbs flexing in odd and tight angles as he tries to expel the memory of the pain. He tries to speak, not to answer the question but to ask for help, help, anyone, anyone at all, his mom or one his brothers or the youth pastor who gives him bandages when no one is looking, just, God, please, please—
The best Dennis can manage is a deep gurgle from his throat.

Summary
After hours of being in this damn jet (and who gave Steve fucking Rogers a license to fly this thing anyway, hello, he crashed a plane into the Arctic on purpose once), they land in the middle of a field. Yes, a field. Literally right next to a fucking cow. They file off one by one, each taking in their new surroundings. Bucky moos hello to the cow.
"Did you just moo?" Sam asks. Bucky shrugs, and Sam rolls his eyes. "You didn't say a fucking word the entire flight, and yet, you greet a cow. A goddamn cow."
"Maybe it’s one of the twenty languages he can speak," Steve mutters, never taking his eyes off of his phone.
Bucky sneers at both of them. "Where the hell are we?"
"Right outside of Cut Bank, Montana. About 30 miles from the Canadian border," Steve answers, wrinkling his nose. "I got the coordinates right, this is the place."
Coordinates his ass. "It's a farm, Steve."

Summary
Upon being pushed through the time portal by Sylvie, Loki has fallen into a new universe, one full of littles and caregivers where age regression is pretty regular. Unbeknownst to him, in this world, little prince Loki has been missing for a month. So when the Asgardian citizens find a disheveled Loki on the edge of town, they take him to the royals, who have missed their little one so badly!
Loki isn't to keen on the idea of permanently being the royal baby at first, especially since his Odin and Frigga weren't the best parents in his universe... but maybe things are different here.
