great! I was just thinking that I wanted to read a fic where Yoongi realizes that he's in love with his best friend (NJ) and confessing to him he feels like it's unrequired love (which of course it isn't)

this fic is a definition of edging😩😩 really really interesting, I've never read omegaverse including packs, just wasn't interested, and this one was great. but God was is so very long with namjoon ending up always disappointed from someone actions or words😭 and yoongi not expressing his feelings at all, it was really angst and miscommunication tags working overtime haha

“You should kill me,” Viktor murmurs, still refusing to even look at Jayce. The pain that lances through his heart far exceeds the burn in his knees.
“How can you say that? No, how can you ask that of me? After…” he trails off, unable to put words to the cosmic experience they’d just endured minutes ago. Viktor shrugs. His hair falls in waves around his face, hiding his expression.
“Is it so different? I surrendered myself to the arcane, now I surrender myself to you.”
Jayce did not think it possible his heart could drop further, but it does. Viktor always had a way with achieving the impossible. He also always had a way with Jayce’s heart.
I surrender myself to you. Jayce would be a liar if he said he hadn’t imagined it at least once before. But he had imagined dealing in pleasure, not pain, and certainly not punishment. Not like this. Never like this.

“Or maybe we drop everything and become farmers in the Demacian countryside. I can tend to the land. You can feed the chickens.” At that, Viktor tilts his head so slightly that Jayce wouldn’t have noticed if he hadn’t been watching Viktor’s reflection so closely. He bites back a grin. “Or maybe sheep. Goats? Cows? But neither of us have done anything like that before… I guess it could be a learning experience for both of us.”
Jayce realizes he made a grave mistake as soon as the landlord opens the coin pouch. But in Jayce’s defense, he has no idea how much renting an abandoned chicken farm costs. Also, he doesn’t really care.

The hands—the suggestion of hands and fingers in a play of light and shadow—clenched for a moment before going slack again. In the long silence that followed, Jayce tried to get his bearings. They were in a cave, but the entrance was close enough for the moon and stars to cast their pale light inside. He stood slowly, using the wall Viktor sat against to balance without his leg brace. One shuffling step towards the entrance; another. The air was clear and cold, sapping all warmth from his body.
"We are a tad underdressed for the weather," Viktor said dryly, seeing him shiver.
Jayce laughed. "We're underdressed for everything except one of Count Azika's famous parties."

awww, I'm glad I finally finished it, it was so good. I believe I started it when the last chapter wasn't available yet, so now after reading it all again, it certainly is one of my favorites Jayvik fics, it just has everything: good plot, good dialogs, good character studies/portrayal, I feel like author did great with their characterisations, and it also some moments here were very funny, like I really laughed at their banter😂
