Summary
If you were to ask the Marauders who the most infamous, mischievous, or scandalous pair of best friends were, they would answer without hesitation: James Potter and Sirius Black. Summary
Two years had passed since Sirius’ escape from the cramped cells of Azkaban, but to him, nothing really changed at all. He’d simply traded one prison for another. That much he’d realized as soon as he stepped back into the grim halls of Grimmauld manor. Ever since then, to try and escape the ghosts of his past, he’d fallen into the simplest of routines, never allowing himself to so much as think about the things he’d lost. That was of course until the winter holidays of 1995 came around, and he found himself forced to make the crumbling house slightly more presentable for the sake of an Order meeting. Summary
Regulus is supposed to join Sirius' band when he starts Hogwarts. Regulus is also supposed to be a pureblood Slytherin. He's only able to fulfill one of those things.
Sirius thinks he betrayed him, his mother thinks he's a gluttonous disappointment, and James Potter is in love with Lily Evans.
The only time he feels like he can breathe is when he's with his friends. When they play his songs together and his lyrics come alive, he feels alive. So, they start a band. It's not like anyone will find out.
