Summary
As tempers flare and negotiations break down after the Hundred Year’s War, the only issue the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom can agree on is that Azula is dangerous. The fallen princess is bartered as a negotiation point and after her bending is taken, she is sent to the Southern Water Tribe as an indentured servant to help them rebuild after the war.
Fate intervenes and Azula is offered a new gift as her old life is stripped away. She sets her mind to becoming a Life Binder and Azula looks to begin a new life as the world she grew up with fades away. Becoming the Jade Sage, she finds that even with her new skills, the world is a dangerous place and her past may still come back to haunt her.

Summary
Azula is fed up with her life in the city. Nobody seems to want to know her, they judge her based on her public breakdown from almost a decade ago when her dad was arrested for tax fraud, and she had nobody left to take care of her. While cleaning out her desk at work, she finds a key to a farmhouse along with a letter from her uncle who left to travel the world. Azula chooses herself and moves to Pelican Town.
It takes some getting used to, and Azula's basically the town recluse, but she slowly makes friends with the town carpenter and her fisherman boyfriend. After becoming their third wheel, the couple tells her that the fisherman's sister is a third wheel too! Azula thinks they'll get along great. Too bad the town's healer seems to hate her.
(Stardew Valley AU, but you don't need to know anything about the game to understand this. I deviate from the game's timeline a LOT.)

Summary
The Phoenix King has been defeated by the Avatar, Ba Sing Se has been liberated, and his daughter Azula is in chains. However, she is still the Fire Lord, her claim uncontested and her mind sound, no matter her injuries and restraints. Though she failed to defeat the Avatar in the field of battle, the post-war settlement proves more troubling than our heroes could ever have expected, and she will not give up her nation's victory without a fight. However, all is not as it seems, as the Fire Lord has been holding secrets from the rest of the world, about what truly happened on a ship one fateful night. The Blue Spirit haunts her, and will continue to, until she learns the truth about herself and her family.
