Summary
Typically, he stated the parrot's pull on his heart stemmed from what laid inside of Mark's soul. While the response was quite trite and superficial to most — often dismissed as a generic response that someone fed to Falcon's lips, there was a thin layer of truth to the quick statement. Many had no idea of the true layers of intellect and wit that laid underneath those wide, yellow eyes of his – nor did they realize just how surprisingly observant Mark could be.
Though, in Falcon's opinion, there was quite a lot that the other man could work on. What Mark Beaks had in terms of charm could not be accounted for in the tact department. In addition, the bird could stand to work on his emotional intelligence – especially before he began work on this new joint venture he had decided to embark on with Falcon. Still, as the parrot would often quip, nobody was perfect – especially in a pair made up of an obscenely wealthy and infuriatingly charismatic failson and his much older former assassin of a boyfriend.
It was a shame that Falcon Graves couldn’t even count himself amongst those who strived for perfection these days.

Summary
When his mother was finished with his hair, Mercutio would hop off the couch, and would run his hands through his hair to inspect it. His mother would laugh at the skeptical expression on his face that would come from Mercutio finding a butterfly clip or two in his momentarily tamed and manicured mane. Before she’d send her children outside, his mother would gently bend down to press a kiss to Mercutio’s hair, and would tell her little pasticciona to be careful with his new hairstyle.
Back then, Mercutio didn’t know that his days with his mother - whether it be his days as a innocent wild child, sat in his mother’s lap, or just his days spent with her alive, warm, and vibrant - were numbered.

After Yuri Plisetsky’s Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Year ™, in which he gets walking pneumonia, bronchitis, and an ankle fracture, he chalks it up to his body being a fucking menace when he begins feeling more fatigued than usual. Coupled with the draining lethargy, the breathlessness he’s experiencing can easily be written off as having fallen out of shape, after so much time spent recuperating from his various injuries. His weight gain can similarly be attributed to the sluggish lifestyle of the injured, and as he’s been trying desperately to maintain a calorie deficit to compensate for the unfortunate weight gain, it’s reasonable that he’s been having dizzy spells whenever he moves too quickly. And even if he’s feeling more famished than he ever has in living memory (including when he and Deda were dirt-soup-poor in Moscow when he was growing up), well, that’s just to be expected. It’ll take his metabolism some time to adjust.
