Summary
Ada and Leon raid the village, unknowingly working together, moreso on Leon's part. Caught in between the duo's campaign is a resident and up-and-coming student researcher. We follow this person and the demons of their recent past that led to their solitude.
Seeing the man for the first time, she can't help but hope to survive. But she knew, inside, she would give up her life for this man's mission.
She's young, intelligent, why would she throw her life away for a mission not related to someone like her? Caught in the crossfire?
Simple.
She was never going to be cured.
It just wasn't possible, but maybe, for Leon and the girl Ashley, they could make it to safety.
Then, she can finally die with the regret overshadowed by the fact she helped the man she grew to love and, quite possibly, the world. -

With war intermittently happening almost every decade, the Kingdom of Maerion wants the nuclear weapons of this world. Dragons.
Beings of pure magic, these Dragons have risen people to emperors and slave owners. But they've ravaged civilizations. They are the perfect catalyst for this war to end all wars.
