SI Garrus Vakarian is a jaded cop yearning for adventure to pull him out of his dreary day to day. Until the day, he and his partner, SI Nihlus Kryik are called to a massacre at a posh, presidium hotel. The adventure becomes altogether too real as Garrus is pulled into the world of Jane Shepard, an earthborn heiress with too many secrets ... some of which might just get him killed.
Some mention of past abuse, but nothing graphic or taking place in current time. Any spots where mention is made will be clearly marked and warnings posted. Some graphic violence ... it's detective noir, after all. :D And soooo much Garrus being all super cool and snarky. Definitely need to warn for that. :D
