“Well, maybe if you weren’t so difficult it would get better, but ,oh, I forgot you’re too much of a child to get over yourself!” Both of them were angry, and they had every right to be. Ranboo watched them, unsure of what to do, he was never one for conflict, to be fair. “I’m leaving in three days, I already found an apartment.” Tommy said, he sounded empty, he was just so tired of fighting. Tubbo faltered after hearing what he said, but only for a moment.

Tommy smiles. Not his normal, wide mouth smile, but a gentle and easy smile. Tubbo grins back in return before his world slams to a halt in front of him. Tommy’s arms have lowered all the way and exposed his throat.
His throat is almost black with bruising. The windpipe looks cracked and caved in; his Adam's apple is nearly gone. His breathing is stuttered, and that’s when Tubbo realizes.
