Three years after Sabo's boat sank beneath flames and wave Luffy was captured and sold as a slave. After two years he;s managed to escape and thanks to a partically whiskered furry friend, ends up on the Moby Dick while those who care about him are searching the vast oceans to in hopes of returning him home.
Or... Stefan finds recently escaped Luffy and goes "mine" and brings him home... isn't normally the kid bringing the puppy home and begging dad to keep it?

Summary
This is an AU if Luffy was raised as a marine by Garp and remembers the secret codes and such from him.
I highly recommend reading the series in order, except The world doesn't deserve you, unless you want to read a canon divergence fic when the ASL Brothers were still kids on dawn.

Summary

Luffy was reborn as a girl, in a world where being a girl is a sentence to a life of submission and abuse. But if there's something that Luffy is, is that he is against all normatives. After all, normatives are not for the king of the pirates, and the King of The Pirates it's the freest person in the world.
Watch Luffy break every heteronormativity and takes the world by surprise as she escalates her way to the top without nobody's help except her Nakama and allies.
