Penelope Featherington wasn't sure how long she had been pacing her bed chamber, her eyes constantly glancing back towards the parchment with the elegant hand of Lady Bridgerton.
She had read and reread the letter so many times in the past few hours that she could recall it from memory.
Dearest Penelope,
We have all missed you at our afternoon tea. Colin especially refuses to eat as much as he had in the past. Although now it is a more reasonable amount for one man, that did decrease it by two thirds.
