When Jazz, Sam, and Tucker told Danny he needed a break, he was skeptical at first, especially when they mentioned he should take it in the living realm. But after a long night and cuddles with Cujo, he decided that maybe he could take a break, go back, and live again. He wanted it to be special, though maybe not as a human, but as something more.
As his best friend cuddled with him all night, soothing any worries he might have had, Danny realized he wanted to be that for someone too. And who knows? Maybe being alive will do him some good, even if it’s as what they call man’s best friend

His vision blurred as Croc’s jagged teeth pierced flesh and ectoplasm alike, locking onto him like a vice. But it wasn’t just pain—something wrong crawled through his veins, spreading outward in a sickening wave.
Danny screamed.
Instincts misfired as his ghost form glitched between tangible and intangible. His breath came in ragged gasps, hands shaking as the burning spread.
With a strangled cry, he lashed out—a ghostly wail ripping from his throat.
The sonic blast slammed into Croc, sending him staggering backward with a snarl. He wiped his mouth, flicking away a droplet of glowing green blood.
Danny staggered, clutching his shoulder. His legs felt… weak. Heavy.
Something was wrong.
He needed to leave. Now.or
Danny just wanted a break—but a family trip to Gotham quickly goes wrong. While chasing a ghost into the sewers, he’s attacked by Killer Croc and bitten. The injury is bad, but the real problem starts when something begins changing inside him. Disoriented and panicked, he crashes in an alleyway—right in Tim Drake’s path.

Summary
Peter didn’t mean to become the alpha, Derek had never meant to come back to Beacon Hills, and Stiles hadn’t meant to become a werewolf. Just because you don’t mean for something to happen doesn’t mean it’s not something good. Sometimes the things we think are the worst possible scenario end up being the best things to happen to us. Maybe, just maybe, these things were actually meant to be.
A season 1 AU starting from episode 9, ‘Wolf’s Bane’ where Peter bites Stiles that night in the hospital. This starts a chain reaction of events that leads to everything playing out very differently than canon. Peter learns how to be a better alpha, Derek learns how to let people back into his life and Stiles finds out what pack can really mean.

He smells strange and his heartbeat is slightly off.
Stiles is angsty, John needs a friend, Scott is interested, and Peter is interested in a whole other way. Derek just doesn't understand why he has to put up with them.
Edit: Honestly don't pay that much attention to the summary or the tags. This story has really just become "vampire stiles shenanigans"
