Summary
Jake lost a piece of himself when he was told he'd never be able to walk again, an unfortunate hazard of the job. But when he was laying there in the hospital, he would dream of the stories his brother told him about Pandora. He'd have these recurring dreams of flying, feeling free. He wanted to feel that freedom again, and the Avatar Program could provide that.
It's why when he arrived on the indigenous moon he wasn't looking to be some counterspy for Colonel Miles Quaritch, and he certainly wasn't looking for a permanent place among the Na'vi. Jake only wanted to be free. He just never expected his training with the Omaticaya hunter Tsu'tey to alter the course of what he desired.

Voltron is falling apart. Keith has left, Shiro’s acting weird, and Red is shunning Lance. Just when he thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. Lance gets zapped far away to an alternate reality where he struggles to find his footing. He needs to find his way back to the team, fast, and maybe he’ll find himself along the way. Despite his aversion to cliches, he just can't seem to steer clear of them.

Waterboy tries to step back, but he stumbles on the wet floor, thudding into the shipping container beside him. Robert goes still.
His head jerks up, eyes rolling wildly to make contact. Bloodshot. He's crouched on the floor of the warehouse like an animal, low and cornered. Blood is splattered over his face, and as he lifts his head, Waterboy can tell it's streaked down his chin like he must have sunk his teeth into something and held on. When he bares his teeth, they've been licked clean.
He shakily, slowly, like the movement’s might provoke an attack, fumbles for his radio. “Guys? Uh- found- I. I Robert found- no, that's not. I found- uhm.”

Thunder was booming again, before heavy rain started pouring down like there was no tomorrow. Owen cursed and laid his head back against the wall behind him.
He was trapped in the middle of a forest in the northern area of Isla Nublar. There were an I-Rex and Velociraptors on the loose. And an injured, nearly in heat, omega was sitting beside him. To make matters worse, the omega was only a teenager and Claire Dearing's nephew - Zach Mitchell.
Owen felt his alpha side roar at the light, sweet scent coming from the boy beside him. It took all his might to keep from moving closer to the poor kid. Owen tried to reason with himself, no, with his alpha instincts, that Zach was injured, barely conscious, and he was just a kid.
Like those Velociraptors, his alpha instincts snapped its jaw at him and protested.
