    Ever since Kronos had cursed the gods with his dying breath, the gods could not reproduce, each offspring made to wilt, to cause immeasurable pain to it's sires for punishment, and eventually lead to the fall of Kronides' rule.

    They would never be able to gain power without expanding their range.

    That's what was supposed to happen, but the gods found a way around the curse. They found that giving infants domains while in gestation wouldn't push them to ascend before their soft, small bodies could handle such an overload of divinity, but would let the body and soul adapt around the chains of duty and would let them live.

    Then The Fates lost the interest in their story; They left, onto the next creation They went.

    It was peaceful for a time, their hatchlings grew into proper gods, governing domains of their own. Still frail and fragile, but they were alright, everything was calm, predictable.

    Until They reappeared.

    The Fates came back, spinning their world off it's axis, spinning a tale about how they have returned to pick up where They left off and something about their tapestry getting a "new plot device"?

    Annabeth, Malcolm, Will, Katie, Clarisse, Pollux, Connor and Travis get sent back to the winter solstice of 2005. Not to fix things, no, demigods never have it that good. Instead they have two choices, kill themselves inside their child bodies before the after party ends or their existences in their future gets erased to preserved the timeline. Oh, time is still moving on in their original time as well. With the Romans coming to invade Camp Half Blood and the doors of death in the process of being closed, it really wasn't much of a choice to begin with was it?

    Or I give a bunch of theater kids (in soul) the ability to traumatize their parents back with no consequences in the most violent way possible. Yeah, it goes as well as you expect it to.

    He knew it. There is no such thing as peace aboard the Argo II. Whether it be because of the usual monster attack, or just demigod shenanigans, Percy Jackson had quickly learned that peace and quiet just do not exist when seven powerful demigods are gathered together on a flying boat. So why is it that he is still surprised when an attack on the Argo completely interrupts their quest to defeat Gaea? But then again, it’s not every day that one is confronted by the Fates’ parents. And what’s this about a curse?
