He was just looking back towards the bar when a flash of gold caught his attention, his blue eyes flitted back towards the VIP area in interest.
His breath caught. Two vibrant and beautiful golden eyes stared back at him intently. The man was beautiful. He seemed to shimmer under the club’s lights, he leaned confidently against the railing, ringed hands clasping the metal. He reminded Alec of a King surveying his court. Even from this distance, the man radiated confidence and self-assurance but without the usual arrogance that seemed to accompany these traits.
Then the man winked.
And Alec stumbled. Alexander Lightwood, resident hardass of the New York Institute, honest to god stumbled because a pretty guy had winked at him.

Summary
Magnus Bane had met Alec Lightwood 6 months ago at his New York fashion show event. Since then the two men had become close in so many ways but just not in the way either of them wanted. Alec was too oblivious to see that the fashion designer had been flirting shamelessly with him for months, and Magnus mistook this as not caring. Luckily for the two oblivious idiots, their friends make plans to force the two of them together over the festive period.
This series will include any extra stories and ideas I have for Malec in my Christmas Pact universe.
